Have you ever wished you could look through some "magical" device and see just how good a lens or mirror really is?

The Model C Optical Tester is just such a device. Extremely small geometric distortion and focal length deviation can be viewed and measured easily.

This is what you will see:

Any lens, mirror or optical window which comes to a focus, or which can be made to come to a focus with an auxilliary lens, can be tested. Surface inaccuracies as small as those detected by the knife-edge method can be measured.
